Irina Rish is a Full Professor at Université de Montréal and core faculty member at MILA - Quebec AI Institute, holding the prestigious Canada Excellence Research Chair; her Autonomous AI Lab developed the Robin suite of vision-language models and conducts research into neural scaling laws, continual learning, and AI alignment. She was previously a research scientist at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.
